I booked the Mediterranean Sunrise Villa after lots of online searching, I had almost forgotten which one I’d booked in the end! But on arrival we couldn’t have been happier. The complex is lovely, my children spent hours in the pool which was right below the balcony so we could sit and watch them without worry. Several days we had the entire pool area to ourselves – it was so lovely. The apartment itself was everything we could have wanted and more, spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds, lots of large fluffy towels and beach towels – this was such a help as it meant we didn’t have to pack beach towels. We had a really amazing holiday and will definitely be back. The apartment was really nice, two bedrooms 1 twin and a large double. Very comfortable and the [pillows were good too!). the apartment is well kept and we did not need for anything. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is in a quiet location, the pool area is private and only for those in the apartment. There is a security gate. The pool area is sufficient and the pool a nice size. Oroklini is just outside Larnaca. If you do not have a car you can take the local bus which is runs a service approx 1 an hour.

The apartment itself is exactly as described with plenty of space and all the amenities you could want for a break in Cyprus. Helen also provides a comprehensive guide to places to eat and things to do. Oroklini is a very pretty village in the centre and has all the shops you could realistically want – much more conveniently than Larnaca too. Hiring a car is really essential if you want (as we did) to travel about the island. Helens arrangements were perfect and apart from our own idiocy in locking ourselves out, it was the ideal base. We arrived 22 December for one week. Apartment was great with absolutely everything you could need and more. Washing machine was a great asset. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, large balcony with the best position to take advantage of the sun and overlooking the pool. We did not venture in as the water was a little chilly. Weather was good, some really hot days, mostly very warm with rain only one 1/2 day and sometimes overnight. Location was great, quiet yet a bit going on with the locals in immediate vicinity.

Village was just over 5 minute walk with everything you could need, shops for your supplies and a number of good restaurants. We found Helen a delight, very attentive and genuinely interested in trying to give a great holiday experience. Lots of info in the flat regarding things to do and see. Met on arrival by Helen’s representative who showed us around and could contact her if we had any issues. Great time has by all.

This is the second apartment I have stayed in of Helen’s. They are equipped with everything you need and make for a comfortable stay, a home from home. Good Wi-fi with loads of books and games if you get bored! The balcony is breezy in the July heat and looks out onto the pools which are lovely. The location is brilliant and you are not far from some very traditional Greek tavernas and bars set back into the mountain. I would not hesitate to book with Helen again – many thanks for another enjoyable stay.

A car is recommended, should you wish to visit the beach or main resorts. Helen did everything possible to make our stay an enjoyable one. The welcome pack was much needed when we arrived late in the evening after a delayed flight.

My family of 5 had a lovely peaceful holiday at Helen’s apartment. The beds were so comfortable which makes a big difference on holiday. Getting up each morning and sitting on the balcony was absolue heaven. It was so quiet the first week 9/7, we had pool to ourselves. My husband and 12 year old took to walking up the Oroklini hills daily which are practically on your doorstep,(you can drive up.) The views were fantastic aparantly! I\’ll venture up next year!! We had the most amazing time at your apartment and In Oroklini. From start to finish everything was perfect. The apartment was beautiful, immaculately clean and had everything you could hope for and more! The location is also wonderful – Oroklini is a beautiful village with fantastic bakeries which my boys loved, great supermarkets and fruit and veg stores with plenty of eating out options. The tavernas have a very relaxed atmosphere adding to the whole holiday vibe. The apartment provided great space for a family on holiday with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pools.

We enjoyed mornings by the pool and then at siesta time we were perfectly situated to drive to many different locations for sightseeing. Larnaca by night (a wonderful experience) is a mere 10 minute drive from the apartment and a great way to pass the evening in the many cafes and restaurants there, or simply sitting by the beach watching the world go by. We will definitely return to your apartment. Thanks Helen for making everything so easy!

The entire holiday was amazing, the location of the apartment was perfect for us having previously visited Oroklini and being a short walk from town. The apartment itself was wonderful, Helen made everything perfect for us having a welcome pack of essentials. The rep met us with the keys on our first day and showed us around everything in the apartment as well as how to work the air con which proved to be very useful! The owner Helen made our stay at this lovely apartment such a pleasant experience I cannot recommend it highly enough. She arranged for someone to meet us at the apartment to give us the key , with a welcome pack of milk ,orange juice, bread etc. We were given a tour of the apartment and the lady ensured we knew where everything was before we were left to it. All you could need is close by, the complex is based in a very large village with plenty of supermarkets,local shops, a pub and bakeries to enjoy a self catering holiday , or if like us you prefer to eat out or have a take away , there is lots of information and directions on where to go , all in a handy guide left by the owner.

The facitlities are spot on , towels , hair dryer and straighteners, iron, even a high chair are all supplied. The children are well catered for with board games, toys , pool inflatables and balls and for the teenagers/adults, TV, DVD\’s ,Wifi, music system, ( take an ipod or iphone) sunbeds , if the ones supplied by the complex are taken and books etc . It is the ideal base for a holiday by the pool. We had a car ( try Stevens car rental) which made it easy to get out and about. The apartment is situated 10 mins from Larnaca and half an hour from Water world or Nicosia for a daytrip. Once home Helen quickly contacted us to return the deposit,making for an all round great holiday.

We all had such a lovely holiday… the apartment was perfect with the balcony overlooking the pool, and there was everything provided we could have wanted. The girls only watched one film on the TV, and I only used the oven once to heat up some pies from the bakery – so they’re signs of a great holiday: we were out and about enjoying ourselves all the time! The welcome pack was very welcome as our flight was delayed and we didn’t get to the apartment until about midnight and I was dying for a cup of tea! Good location: short walk to shops, bars and restaurants, and good for sightseeing as it was mid-way along the southern coast. We loved it!

This apartment was just what we needed,plenty of room,clean, excellent balcony where the sun hit nearly all day, the kitchen was fully equipped and there was a cupboard full of board games etc. to keep you amused if needing an evening in also dvd, play station and enough english channels too. the bedrooms where a great size with plenty of cupboard space. The village was a mixture of new and old buildings there is plenty of shops, pubs and restuarants and plenty of english speaking too, a climb up the mountain was a must, tiring but great views, we will visit again thats for sure.

Just got back from another fab holiday. Our apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and a welcome pack was there when we arrived. The balcony overlooks the pool, and gets the sun 8am – 5pm. The residents in the village are so friendly, and some of them remembered us from the last time we were there. Loads of great pubs and restaurants to choose from. Our favourite is the ‘Mandra’ at the top of the hill, their food is great and they have entertainment some evenings. There’s also a well stocked supermarket if you prefer to eat in, and a bakery ‘to die for’. All in all, just what the doctor ordered.

The apartment was very nice, with great location on first floor overlooking the pool and we\’d definitely consider returning in the future as well as recommending to others. Great location which is quiet but also benefits as a central base for exploring Cyprus through car hire. Has also the added bonus of being able to walk approx 300 metres to local bars (showing football etc), restaurants and supermarket etc which prices were comparable to main towns such as Larnaca,Protaras etc.

The pool was great and clean- well maintained regularly as well as the rest of the complex. No issue with reserving sun beds. We met several friendly English families (some resident or owners on holiday) with young children which was great for socialising. You provided a professional meeting service and were always available to contact if required.

Just back from yet another great stay at the Mediterranean sunrise .The apartment was spotless and our welcome pack was there .The large balcony overlooks the lovely pool which we love to go in .The complex is only 5 minutes walk into the lovely village which has all the amenities that you need . There is some great tavernas to go to on an evening and the food is amazing. The entertainment is great too from Greek singing and dancing to English tribute singers .If you want to explore other places there is a bus service that takes you into larnaca which is beautiful in itself and then you can get another bus to wherever you want to visit on the island .we honestly love staying in Oroklini and have already booked for next year.

Apartment Family Booking

We booked the two bedroom apartment for my two teenager daughters, my wife and I. The apartment was very clean had loads of space for us all including a big balcony which we used a lot. The hosts were very accommodating including offering to help with car rental and meeting us on arrival. The village has all the amenities needed and several good restaurants and is a great base to visit the rest of Larnaca and Cyprus. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and host.

Couple Apartment Booking

We have been as a young couple to Cyprus for 9 days. We had arrived some hours before the apartment was ready for us, so we found the host just cleaning it. She was very kind, offered us to leave the luggage in the apartment, provided water and cold refreshment, recommended us to visit the city while she was cleaning the apartment – hurrying just to give us the keys even earlier as agreed.

The apartment itself is well equipped, there is powerful air conditioning in every room, large fridge, nice kitchen, clean rooms and a splendid look from the balcony. The common pool between the two apartment houses is a fantastic place all the day: you always find sun and shadow, sunbeds and a corner of piece. Never crowded, water is always clean. The surroundings is a bit boring: it is outside of the down town. The sea is not in walking distance, but you can reach the main road (Agia Napa-Larnaca) in 3 minutes by car and then everything is close. To the airport it is 15-20 minutes. We spent wonderful 9 days (and nights) on Cyprus. We recommend this apartment to everybody.

Despite the necessary Corona tests and paperwork required to enter Cyprus, it was well worth it when we got there. We had another nice, relaxing holiday. As usual, Helen was very helpful with the booking and COVID requirements and even provided anti bac wipes, hand sanitiser and disinfectant spray for our use. Would always recommend this apartment to anybody.

Lovely Apartment

A lovely apartment, located 15 minutes from Larnaca’s airport (by car). We were met at the airport by our lovely host Wayne (naturally extra charge) We arrived at a wonderful, clean, spacious and inviting home. Our hosts Liza & Wayne were very helpful, cheerful and hospitable and made us feel at home and safe. Access to the swimming pool was a blessing and a perfect idea for the hot Summer. It’s suitable for families with kids, or for adults who wish to get away and feel pampered and carefree. I recommend this lovely accommodation with Super-friendly, easy-going hosts to anyone looking for a base around Larnaca. Thanks for making our time so special.
